Lisbon or Lisboa, Portugal

After a ridiculously early morning, I landed in Lisbon. I was greeted with sunshine and the sweet smell of Mediterranean air!
My first couple of days I consisted of working for my company's conference, hosted at the 5 star Tivoli Avenida Liberdade Lisboa hotel, which was a nice little hotel located in the heart of the city. You can check some of the photos I took for this event over here.
After working for a couple of days, I had a few days left to explore the city. First up was randomly exploring the side streets of Lisbon a friend. We so happened to walk past a street party/house pre-carnival party. It was a crazy Brazilian-themed as far as I could tell. Great people, great music, cheap drinks and just from walking randomly around the side streets.
After randomly partying fo a couple of hours, we decided we hadn't eaten so head over for dinner at O Asiático. Great service and delicious food. If you like Asian food with a touch of fusion, visit this place. Go for the Atlantic Horse Mackerel "Nigiri" and Yakitori Octopus - absolutely mouth watering stuff! After drinking in the day it was decided we needed an early night!
Second day meant packing in as many activities into one day as possible. We saw the different spots like the famous graffiti in Mouraria - a particular piece dedicated to fado music, famous in this part of the city. We tried ginjinha - a lovely port style drink, lovely sweet stuff! We also visited a couple of view points and had lunch at Time Out market. Lastly a stop to the LX Factory and MAAT Exhibition centre - all worth the visit if you have the time!
I woke up with a pretty bad hangover, and it was suggested that there was a place that sold a variety of cereal with other crazy stuff. Pop Cereal Café it was called. I thought in my head "yeah I like cereal and I'm hungry." Why not! At this point I’m a little wobbly and needing some food/fluids to sort my brain out - so I ordered something random. It had ice cream, honey, about 7 variety’s of cereal and soy milk. Got to say, it did the trick and gave me energy to pack and rush to the airport!
